Find the two labeled highs and compare the lows between them. The final rise is an illustrative example, not a promised move.
tap chart to enlarge ↗Find two lows and the intervening high. A move above that level can still reverse; the shape alone proves nothing.
tap chart to enlarge ↗Compare three highs: the center is taller. The neckline joins the intervening lows; it is a reference level, not a floor that must hold.
tap chart to enlarge ↗Wicks show the interval’s extremes beyond the candle body. Long wicks can occur in either direction and do not guarantee a breakout.
tap chart to enlarge ↗Read from left to right and notice rising prices. An upward curve describes what happened; it cannot tell you how long it will continue.
tap chart to enlarge ↗The illustrated rise rolls over at the top. Compare the later highs and lows instead of assuming every curve has the same outcome.
tap chart to enlarge ↗Mark the upper and lower edges of the range. Prices can stay inside, briefly leave, or return to it. The exit is uncertain.
tap chart to enlarge ↗The drawing shows a decline followed by a sideways area. A flat bottom does not guarantee a recovery.
tap chart to enlarge ↗The numbered pads mark repeated lows in this illustration. Four touches are a meme convention, not a validated rule about the next move.
tap chart to enlarge ↗The cat face combines several visual features. Seeing more features does not make the interpretation more reliable.
tap chart to enlarge ↗The dashed boundaries sketch a channel around the moves. Boundaries depend on how you draw them and can be crossed.
tap chart to enlarge ↗Compare the repeated shapes, then check the time scale. Repetition is a visual observation, not evidence of extra predictive power.
tap chart to enlarge ↗Revisit Toe Beenz: the final rise is visible in hindsight. An unfinished candle may change before it closes, and even a closed candle cannot guarantee what comes next.

Learn what da marks mean before inventing cat faces.
Each candle covers one chosen interval, such as an hour or a day. Read the time axis left to right and the price axis vertically. Changing the interval changes the picture.
The body runs between the opening and closing price. On common color settings, green means the close is above the open; red means below. Always check the chart’s color settings.
The upper wick reaches the interval’s high; the lower wick reaches its low. A long wick shows a wide excursion beyond the body, not a promise about the next candle.
Volume bars show how much traded during each interval, according to that chart’s venue and units. Compare nearby bars. More activity does not by itself tell you the next direction.
Support and resistance are areas where price has previously paused or turned. Draw them as reference areas. They can fail, and different readers may choose different levels.
A breakout is a move beyond a marked level. It can fail and return inside the range. Check whether the candle has closed and remember: no pattern removes uncertainty.
Chart literacy is not a trading recommendation. These examples explain how to read a picture; they do not establish that cat patterns predict returns. Prices shown in artwork are fictional examples, not $LOLCATZ quotes.
